JA Money 101 for Teens

More dates to come for the 2020-2021 school year. Stay tuned!

Your teen can recite the quadratic formula but can he/she balance a checking account? Today’s teens keenly feel the lack of learning around subjects like budgeting, college loans, taxes, credit scores, and much more.

Some topics we’ll cover are: Getting a part-time job, understanding your paycheck, doing your taxes, how credit works, college expenses, filling out a FAFSA, student grants and loans, credit scores, buying a car, renting an apartment, paying bills, investing for your future, stocks, home-buying, 401Ks, etc.

Junior Achievement’s proven programs will empower them to own their economic success by presenting curriculum in a fun, interactive and experiential way! This program is intended for ages 15-19. Course is FREE but attendees must RSVP.
