2018 will mark 32 years of this prestigious event, where community and business leaders have been inducted as Laureates since 1986. Laureates selected for the 2018 JASC Business Hall of Fame will be inducted on Saturday, March 3, 2017 at a gala event.

 

To be considered as a Business Hall of Fame Laureate, an individual’s record of business achievement must demonstrate business excellence, courageous thinking and actions, vision and innovation, inspiring leadership, and community mindedness. Nominations will be open until September 13, 2017. To nominate someone you may fill out and submit our online form. You may also print out the form below and send in by mail or fax.

Since 1986, Junior Achievement of the Space Coast has inducted such notable individuals as Joseph H. Wickham, Jesse J. Parrish, Jr., W. Lansing Gleason, B.W. “Bernie” Simpkins, Dr. Maxwell C. King, Joseph Duda and John Hopkins.  Notable Laureates from the Space Coast, Wayne Huizenga of Blockbuster Entertainment Group and Al Neuharth of USA TODAY/FLORIDA TODAY, went on to be inducted into the US Business Hall of Fame.

The 31st Annual JASC Business Hall of Fame was held on March 4, 2017 at the Embraer Hangar in Melbourne where Ed Scott and Rick McNeight were inducted into the JASC Hall of Fame as our 2017 Laureates, presented by HealthFirst, Harris and Wells Fargo Advisors. The JASC Business Hall of Fame was established in 1986 to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to free enterprise and society. Individuals are nominated by the Brevard County community members and then selected by a committee of Business Hall of Fame Laureates. Each nominee’s record of business achievement must demonstrate business excellence, courageous thinking and actions, vision and innovation, inspiring leadership, social responsibility and serving as a role model to those who follow.
